Our
Purpose
The purpose of the Naaman Center is to provide intensive
outpatient and outpatient chemical dependency treatment and
education to the addict, the family and the community. Most
treatment centers emphasize either a purely Christian approach or
a medical model. The goal of the Naaman Center is to combine a
12-step program with a Christian perspective and state-of-the-art
psychotherapeutic techniques. All staff members and board members
are Christians who are committed to this ministry.
The
Naaman Center is:
- A
Christian oriented intensive outpatient program for
chemical dependency treatment that emphasizes spiritual
growth and relapse prevention.
- A
treatment program that uses the 12-steps, based upon
their historical roots, in a professional setting.
- A
program that sensitively guides clients in the
exploration of a loving and accepting God who is
interested in their personal recovery and healing
process.
- Licensed
by the State Department of Health and staffed by
Certified Addiction Counselors.
The
Naaman Center is not:
- A
substitute for AA, NA, Al-Anon or other support groups.
- A
substitute for inpatient treatment when intensive
residential treatment is more appropriate.
