• Out-patient
    Clients attend a 2 hour group 1 time per week. Evening groups begin at 6:00 p.m. Day groups begin at 10:00 a.m.. One individual session is also scheduled weekly.
  • Intensive Out-patient
    Clients attend a 2 hour group 2 times per week. Evening groups begin at 6:00 p.m. Day groups begin at 10:00 a.m.. One individual session is also scheduled weekly.
  • Adolescents
    Youth ages 15-17 are able to participate in their own age-appropriate group and work with a counselor who has specialized training to counsel youth.
  • Individual Counseling
    Clients will have weekly individual 1-hour sessions with their primary counselor throughout treatment. Counselors have specialized training in drug and alcohol addictions.

The Process

Potential clients must be:

  • Committed to abstaining from mood altering chemicals (alcohol, drugs, etc.) and remaining drug free.
  • Willing to attend all scheduled sessions.
  • Free of or stabilized from, medical or psychiatric problems that would require other treatment of modalities.
  • 15-65 years of age experiencing chemical abuse or dependency
  • Pre-Screening
    When you initially contact Naaman Center, a 15-20 minute intake over the phone (by office staff) will be conducted and an appointment made for your assessment/evaluation by a counselor. This appointment will take approximately 2 hours in length.
  • Assessment
    Each client will have a face-to-face evaluation with a counselor to determine clinical appropriateness for treatment based upon Pennsylvania Client Placement Criteria (PCPC) or American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria. After evaluation, client will be admitted for outpatient/.intensive outpatient treatment or referred to appropriate level of care as determined by the counselor and client.
  • Outpatient Treatment
    Clients attend a 2 hour group 1 time per week. Evening groups begin at 6:00 p.m. Day groups begin at 10:00 a.m.. One individual session is also scheduled weekly.
  • Intensive Outpatient Treatment
    Clients attend a 2 hour group 2 times per week. Evening groups begin at 6:00 p.m. Day groups begin at 10:00 a.m.. One individual session is also scheduled weekly.
  • Aftercare Program
    Clients are invited to attend an aftercare program. This is to help them transition back into everyday life.

Funding contracts include:

Highmark Blue Shield (includes AmeriHealth Administrators), Value Options, Medical Assistance, AmeriHealth Mercy, and Perform Care. Also contracts with Lancaster, Dauphin and Lebanon County Drug and Alcohol Commissions.

Cost of Treatment
